Coemter, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of garbage bag machinery, faced a complex technical challenge: ensuring that the cutting and welding of each bag were perfectly centered.
In a process where materials constantly change —colors, textures, tensions—, maintaining this precision manually involved extra costs, downtime, and a high risk of errors.
The solution? Applying artificial intelligence to automate inspection, correct deviations in real time, and eliminate the need for constant supervision.
To improve the quality of the final product, Coemter innovated by physically separating the welding point from the cutting point in its machines. This improvement introduced a new level of technical demand: the system had to ensure that both processes were perfectly aligned… in thousands of bags per minute, with no margin for error.
Traditional machine vision systems did not offer the flexibility or reliability required. Changes in plastic, lighting, or material tension made a conventional solution unfeasible.

Thanks to the integration of OneVision software, developed by ID Vision, an AI-based machine vision system was implemented that can:
The entire system is optimized for high speed and reliability. Once installed, it simply works.
“With ID Vision’s solutions we no longer worry about centering. We now trust 100% in machine vision.”
